We offer a five-star, full service experience along with customizable digital and print collections, meaning you'll get everything you want and need for dreamy family photographs you'll love forever.
The first step is to lock in your place on the studio calendar with a paid session retainer. This provides for your planning consultation, access to the Client Closet, and your custom portrait session.
Please note, the session fee does NOT include any products, such as prints or digital files. These products will be available for purchase after your session.

Digital collections include your choice of included files and unlimited personal print release, so that you can download and enjoy your images however you'd like.

WHEN AND WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

I am based in southern Maryland, but my included travel radius extends to Annapolis and Washington DC. The majority of my clients choose to hold their sessions at their homes or at exclusive venues throughout the area. I am thoroughly knowledgable of all the best local portrait locations and will help you choose the perfect place for your family. Most family sessions take place on weekday evenings, with newborn sessions taking place in the late morning.

WILL YOU POSE OR DIRECT US during our session?
My approach is a skilled mix of photojournalism and editorial, with an emphasis on genuine human connections. My high emotional intelligence allows me to sense when my subjects are carrying tension or feeling anxious, which I use to gently guide them in a way that feels authentic to the individual. You can expect thoughtful guidance, simple posing, and encouragement to just be yourself.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT MAKES A BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPH?
An incredible photo is the one that you find yourself returning to with fondness throughout your life. So, I would say that the best family photographs are more than timing, posing, backgrounds, and lighting. A large part of creating a beautiful photo is capturing the beauty of your real life so you can look back and feel how wonderful your life is.

HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
You'll receive your images within 2 weeks of your session, but often much sooner. Your edited, high resolution images will be delivered via a secure online gallery. From there, you can download your images, share with loved ones, and order professional prints. If you've chosen a collection that includes artwork, we'll begin that process right after gallery delivery!

HOW DO WE BOOK a session WITH YOU?
I'm so excited to work together! To book your session, simply respond to the welcome email with the collection you're interested in to receive a booking proposal. Once the proposal is complete, we'll schedule a phone consultation to talk through all of the plans in more detail!
